Dimensional Letters and Lobby Signs

There are many materials that can be used in dimensional signage, and San Jose Signs can help you decide which product is best for you.
The material thicknesses can vary, and so can the finishes. Please use this guide to decide which is best for you! Any of these materials are good for indoor and outdoor!
Metal Letters and Logos can consist of Cast Metal, Flat Cut Metal (Routed or water jet) or fabricated letters. Fabricated letters are manufactured using rolled-stock, and can be used as illuminated "Halo-lit" letters.
Plastic Letters can come in a variety of styles. Flat cut letters from 1/8" thick all the way up to 1" thick, formed plastic letters, which are vacuum-formed, and cast plastic letters. We can even router cut PVC, which is less expensive and looks fantastic painted.
Foam Letters are a great option, because they are light weight, and easy to install, and they last as long as any other material. They can be as thick as 2" and can include a laminate (such as brushed aluminum, polished aluminum, acrylics, etc.). You save money using this option because the installation is easier, and can be installed using only double sided tape and silicone. Many of the other materials require us to drill holes into your walls, and use studs to secure the letters.
Laminates are thin layers that we "laminate" to the surface of the main material substrate. In the photos below, the Lexus sign has a brushed aluminum laminate, mounted to PVC. The edges are painted silver. That layer is then mounted to Green Glass Acrylic, which gives the sign it's high-end appearance.
With so many options available, it's difficult to decide which style is a good fit for you. Your sign is only limited by your imagination.
