San Jose Signs manufactures and installs custom illuminated and non-illuminated monument signs. Monument signs are also referred to as ‘free-standing signs’.
Fabricated from aluminum, foam or wood, monument signage is designed to get your business noticed, especially when your store front is not visible by road traffic. Illuminated monument signs are the most popular type of freestanding sign, and are generally the most expensive type, depending on size and features.
Following is a list of monument/freestanding signs that we offer:
- Illuminated aluminum fabricated
- Non-illuminated aluminum fabricated
- Foamcraft – vendor supplied, non-illuminated
- Post and Panel – two wood posts and panel sign
- Highway Pylon sign
How to order a monument sign
The type of monument sign you choose also determines the city process. Monument signs require your city’s approval prior to fabrication and installation. First we determine location and size based on your building’s frontage. Second, we create a detailed drawing concept of the sign, and when we acquire the client approval, we produce a full drawing package for both your landlord and the city Planning Department. Once we have permits in hand, we produce the sign and install it. Also, there are inspections that need to be completed by city inspectors – from the initial hole to the electrical and then final installation.
The overall process can be time consuming and requires considerable planning. At San Jose Signs, we do our best to limit confusion, and we expertly craft the perfect plan for your sign through interaction and project management.
We would love to discuss your vision with you. For more information regarding monument signs and the types of signs that meet your budget, contact San Jose Signs!
